# What do your tools cost you today?

Most small firms pay for five or six tools and never add them up. Put in your numbers below. See what you pay each year, per advisor and per family. Then try the platform that does it all.

## Why add it up
Each tool sends its own bill. One is monthly. One is yearly. One takes a cut of your clients' assets for reports. It is easy to lose track. When you add it all up, the total is often a surprise. That is money you could keep, or spend on your clients.

## One price per seat
With Rutledge you pay one price for each advisor. There is no fee on your clients' assets. Your portal, CRM, plans, billing, records and reports are all in that seat. Add-ons, like factor models or data feeds, are priced on their own, so you only pay for what you use.

## What the numbers mean
Your numbers stay on this page. Nothing is saved or sent. The sample numbers are only a start, so change them to match your firm. The fee on assets is in basis points: one basis point is one hundredth of one percent. So 2 basis points on $100 million is $20,000 a year.

## See it for yourself
Numbers only tell part of the story. Open a sample family now and see the work for yourself. Then enter your work email and try the live workspace as a sample advisor. Your first month is free once you sign up. [Try the platform](/try?for=wealth), read about [switching](/switching-for-advisors), or [talk with us](/contact).
